Hello you!

Welcome to my slow travel diaries - exploring resorts, hotels and restaurants from a slow travel perspective.

Taste of London: The Festive Edition

Taste of London: The Festive Edition

Taste of London  opened their Tobacco Dock doors earlier this November to a ravenous public. With stands from the finest restauranteurs, top chefs (including

Marcus WareingTom Kerridge and Monica Galetti), food & drink producers as well as masterclasses and free sample tastings!

If you consider yourself a foodie and you've never been to Taste of London, you're certainly missing out because this is foodie heaven with jingle bells on!

Having stocked up on Crowns (Taste currency of choice) we picked up a map to find our way around all the stalls. Brands such as HECK (bloody good sausages), Deliveroo (Nando's and the like delivered to your office - yes please!), Gousto (have both your recipe and ingredients covered) and Joe & Seph's (fabulously flavoured popcorn) were offering regular and festive tastings and it worked a treat because I went home with a bag full of goodies!

It was also restaurants galore with the likes of frontrunners HixM and Club Gascon shelling out small plates of unimaginable indulgence. Not only that but there was mulled rumice cream made before your eyes, sparkling tea and wait for it... Water in a can! No not a watering can, water in a can. Mind blown, right?

The only downside was that Lily Vanilli had run out of their irresistible desserts because they sounded really exciting (sold like hot cakes maybe because they were?) so if you managed to try some, let us know what you thought!

Here are a few snapshots of my evening at #FestiveTaste...

Thanks to Taste for festive vibes and foodie treats, can't wait to see you again in the Summer!
