Best for cold-pressed oils: Yare Valley Oils
Yare Valley Oils are well-renowned for their award-winning cold-pressed rapeseed oils, dressings and infusions. Created on their farm in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, all their products are available for UK-wide delivery.
I love their infused oils, with flavours ranging from truffle, garlic and rosemary and even madras! They also offer a range of delicious dressings including honey and mustard, Norfolk vinaigrette dressing and even fiery chilli dressing.

Best for Beetroot! The Foraging Fox
The Foraging Fox are renowned for their multi-award winning Beetroot Ketchup. Made with all natural ingredients, this twist on a family favourite adds a naturally sweet flavour without any artificial additives or flavourings additives.
Their range also includes smoked beetroot ketchup and hot beetroot ketchup too. They also sell decadent all-natural mayonnaise made with British free range eggs, which are available in fantastic flavours such as smoked garlic, avocado and lemon and even spicy turmeric!
Best for Preserves: Gingerbeard Preserves
Gingerbeard Preserves is a small independent company that offers a wide variety of delicious preserves including chilli jams, chutneys, hot sauces, salsas, and even satays!
Based in Bristol, all the preserves are handmade in small batches to ensure a high quality and do not contain any artificial preservatives, pectins or gelling agents.
Their survival boxes are the best way to experience a range of Gingerbeard products, with the Traditional Discovery Box containing chutneys, pickles, jams and marmalade. The Ultimate Discovery Box includes more of their delicious bespoke flavours, including Pale Ale and Juniper Mustard, Milk Stout Chipotle BBQ Sauce and Moor Amoor Chipotle Ketchup.
Best for Asian Flavours: The Wasabi Company
Ever wondered where to get your hands on some fresh wasabi? Well The Wasabi Company delivers individual rhizomes of your chosen size to suit your dinner plans. They also deliver wasabi leaves, baby leaves, and wasabi flowers too. And best of all, all the wasabi is grown in the UK!
Pair this wasabi with their range of Japanese ingredients including award-winning traditional ponzu sauce, yuzu mayonnaise, yuzu soy sauce and even wasabi vodka! Their plants, products and accessories are available as gift packs too and would make a fabulous unique gift for any foodie.
I tried the fresh wasabi and loved the rich, deep flavour instilled in the freshly grated wasabi, which was significantly superior to the shop bought version.
The Wasabi Company is the ideal place for high-quality Asian-inspired ingredients, and of course, home-grown wasabi.
Best for Indian Spices: Spice Kitchen
Spice Kitchen is a family-owned artisanal spice and tea company run by mother and son team Sanjay and Shashi Aggarwal. Specialising in lovingly producing small-batch, freshly ground spices, I absolutely love their spice tins, which contain all the essential spices for a delicious Indian meal, and even come wrapped in a beautiful handmade silk sari wrap!
I have always found it difficult to find fresh ground spices, but Spice Kitchen’s hand-blend, hand-roasted and hand-ground spices are delivered straight to your door, with the option of buying individual spices to top up your spice tin too.
Best for BBQs: Smokey Carter
Inspired by Smokey’s travels around the world, Smokey Carter offers a range of international BBQ flavours, from the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, Portugal and Greece.
The spice rubs, BBQ sauces, chilli jams and hot sauces are all handmade in Manchester and packed full of flavour. My favourite is the Louisiana Cajun BBQ Spice Rub and the Charcoal BBQ Spice Rub, both of which are perfect for marinating cuts of meat before a barbecue.
Best for Honey: Black Bee Honey
Every kitchen cupboard needs good honey, and the Black Bee is the perfect unblended, unpasteurised British Honey.
This award-winning honey is made by the black bees, a native British honey bee. After losing most of their natural habitat of woodlands and wildflower meadows the black bee has recently made a come-back and produce this delicious honey.
