Christmas Luxury Larder Gift Guide

We all deserve a treat this year and what better way to celebrate the festive season than creating a luxury larder full of treats to enjoy over the Christmas period. Luxury Olive Oil - Picaulia

Luxury Christmas Cheese - Pong Cheese

Cheese is a must at Christmas and Pong Cheese is one of my staple all-year cheese suppliers who I always turn to during the festive period.

This year Pong Cheese are offering The Pong Christmas Extravaganza Box, which features a fantastic collection of magnificent cheeses fit for any Christmas dinner. These include Valencay Goat’s Cheese, Wookey Hole Cheddar that has been aged in caves, and even a delicious La Retorta from Extremadura in southern Spain.

Ultimate Luxury Indulgence - Fortnum and Mason

Fortnum and Mason are synonymous with Christmas and during the festive period I tend to stock up on a few of their glorious products to add that little touch of luxury, especially when it comes to festive treats. This includes their delicious biscuits such as the festive flavoured Christmas Merrilossus, filled with an assortment of fruit, nuts and spice (£17.95) and their Biscuits for Cheese Selection Tin which includes distinct flavours from Charcoal and Cumin to the classic Butter Wafer (£19.95).

Luxury Crackers - Peter's Yard

Luxury cheese boards require, nay, deserve luxury crackers, and Peter’s Yard create delicious crackers to accompany and elevate any type of cheese.

The high quality of Peter’s Yard crackers comes from the fact that they don’t use any artificial colours, flavours or preservatives or any palm oil in their products. They are also made in small batches and are left to ferment for 16 hours.

Their Sourdough Cracker Selection Box is ideal for festive celebrations and includes three flavours, Original, Rye & Charcoal and my favourite Poppy Seed.

I also love their new Sourdough bites which are a perfect alternative to crisps. Luxury Tea Time - Shortbread House of Edinburgh

Shortbread House of Edinburgh is the home of luxury handmade shortbread which are of superior quality and taste. This family-run company prides themselves on producing authentic shortbreads which are exemplary in taste, texture and appearance.

Using a small team of highly skilled bakers and only the finest ingredients, they also bake to order to ensure the shortbreads are as fresh as possible.

I love their Christmas range in particular due to the beautiful bespoke designs on the packaging including the designs of the fabulous Sara Miller. These would make an absolutely wonderful gift which won’t need any additional packing at all.

Luxury Salt - Droitwich Salt

When creating a luxury meal it’s important to source the very best ingredients but seasoning is vital and salt may be the most fundamental seasoning of all. Luxury Breakfast - The Great British Porridge Co.

The Great British Porridge Company make delicious and healthy dairy free porridge in a variety of fantastic, luxurious flavours.

My favourites include Caffè Latte and Classic Chocolate, especially as these are flavours not usually available in porridge. They also offer festive flavours for Christmas including a divine Apple and Cinnamon, which is the ideal way to start Christmas Day!

Luxury Snacks - Howdah

Howdah are a family-run business that are making authentic Indian snacks accessible to everyone. Their fantastic flavours are reminiscent of traditional Indian flavours but with an added kick of flavour which make them ideal for snacking. I also absolutely LOVE their bright and colourful packaging which seems to capture the majesty and vibrancy of India.

My favourites include Onion Bhaji and Bombay Mix, which makes ideal snacks to accompany cocktails and drinks, or as nibbles before the main meal. A great alternative to nuts or crisps, I know I’ll be serving these to my guests as they arrive on Christmas Day.

Luxury Italian Products - Vorrei

Vorrei is a family-run business that specialises in bringing the culture of great tasting Italian food to the UK. They have a host of real Italian produce available on their website, ranging from wines, olive oils, cheeses and more. Luxury Nuts - Sous Chef

This beautifully designed tin contains the most decadent almonds which have been grilled and coated in caramelised sugar. This produces a delightfully crunchy and nutty treat which are ideal paired with coffee, or crumbled over dessert!

They are produced by Mazet, the luxury French confectioner who are best known for their pralines which means they offer the best quality. Ideal of treating yourself, or as a special gift this Christmas.
