May 2018 Highlights

Two delightful Bank Holidays, the arrival of Spring and the promise of idyllic Summer holidays, May is always a month full of excitement!

This May I discovered just how addictive Hipchips are, sampled some fabulous food hampers headed out to enjoy the European sunshine!

HIPCHIPs

Hipchips review on Her Favourite Food

Having launched on Old Compton Street in late 2016, HIPCHIPs brought an innovative eating experience to Soho in the form of freshly handcrafted potato crisps made from a heritage variety of British potatoes and served with a range of sweet and savoury sauces.

The sauces are always changing and of a very high quality, my recent favourites have been wild garlic and salted caramel and chocolate.

Hampers

Warm weather means eating out doors, and the perfect way to create the ideal picnic basket is with a hamper of quality ingredients.

GoshopItaly - Quality Italian hampers

GoshopItaly is a new online shop of regional Italian food shipped worldwide.
Their products are exclusively made in Italy and only include selected high-quality producers whose products are unlikely to be found on other platforms or grocery stores.
They promote the uniqueness of the regional specialties and and are passionate about sharing this with the world!

Tariette - Hand selected hampers from Provence

Tariette hamper review from Provence

Tariette supplies a delicious variety of French food sourced directly from the local farms and producers in Haute Provence. Their new home range called ‘Maison’ is also enviably beautiful, with cutlery, linens and pottery and decorative objects for the table, all of which all designed and manufactured by local producers in the Rhone region and in Provence.

Holidays and wholesome food!

This month I travelled to Cagliari in Sardinia for the first time. The 4 day trip was filled with culture, archaeology and lots of history! My review with a detailed itinerary will be live soon!

One thing I loved about flying back home was having a Charlie Bigham's meal ready for me when I arrived! Easy to prepare, my Charlie Bigham's Chicken Katsu Curry was wholesome, delicious and definitely better than any airplane food!

Charlie Bigham's meals are available from Waitrose and Tesco for £8.50.

What exciting things did you get up to in May? Let me know! :D
