Breakfast at No.11 Pimlico Road

No. 11 Pimlico Road is a beautiful independent neighbourhood bar and restaurant tucked away in the delightful streets of Sloane Square.
Open from breakfast through to dinner, No. 11 Pimlico Road is a Modern European bar and restaurant that is the perfect place to lose yourself for a few hours! The relaxing and quaint yet slick interiors lend themselves to a leisurely meal here. With our window seat and our decadent breakfast, we easily whiled away a good few hours at here.

What's on the menu?

The food at No. 11 Pimlico Road is cooked from scratch and made with a focus on well-sourced ingredients. The restaurant serves Sundance juices and Caravan coffee from a local London Roastery so of course we started our meal with a refreshing glass of orange juice and a latte.

I ordered the No 1 Eggs Royal (£8.95). This was served with smoked salmon, avocado and spinach on sourdough with homemade hollandaise ( £8.95). This was a luscious combination as the sauce added a delicious contrast to the subtle tastes of the salmon and avocado.

We also tried the special of No 11 House Breakfast (12.95) which was served on a quirky pan shaped plate with dry cured streaky bacon, pork and sage sausages, slow roast tomatoes, field mushrooms and sourdough toast with organic eggs. Although this may sound like a lot, the portions were well sized and the dish wasn’t overwhelming.

We also ordered as a dessert dish - the Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes (£7.50) served with maple crème fraiche and syrup. To our surprise, this wasn’t a very sweet dish, as the ricotta cut away at the sweetness of the blueberries as the syrup. As a result, it would actually work well as a main dish rather than a sweet dessert.

Could I afford to dine here again?

Considering the chic neighbourhood and the classy interiors, the prices at No. 11 Pimlico Road are very reasonable. The quality of the food is also high, thus fully justifying the price.

Overall?

I had a lovely leisurely breakfast at No.11 Pimlico Road and I’m pleased to have found such a fabulous spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner as well as just drinks.

No. 11 Pimlico Road also caters for larger groups and events in their bespoke versatile spaces, perfect for larger gatherings.

A special thanks to No.11 Pimlico Road for the invitation and for their generous hospitality!
