The Landings St Lucia Review

Style and Decor:

The hotel's style and decor is a blend of Caribbean charm and contemporary elegance. From the grand lobby adorned with local artwork to the chic beachfront villas, every corner of The Landings reflects luxury and comfort. The lush tropical gardens, accented by cascading water features, create a serene ambiance that invites guests to unwind in the beauty of St. Lucia's natural surroundings.

Accommodation:

My suite at The Landings was a haven of sophistication and comfort. The spacious rooms, elegantly fit with modern furnishings and Caribbean-inspired decor, offered a charming retreat after a day of exploration. The private balconies or terraces offer breathtaking views of the ocean or the resort's lush gardens, while the plush bedding ensured a restful night's sleep amidst the gentle sea breeze.

My particular balcony looked out onto the ocean and even featured an outdoor hot tub, dining area and sun beds too.

I loved that the suite also included a fully equipped kitchen, with a large fridge and cooking area, as well as a laundry room with washing machine and drier too - making it ideal for longer stays, and trips with children and family.

Dining Options:

At The Landings Hotel and Spa, culinary experiences are as diverse as they are delightful, offering guests a journey through the flavours of the Caribbean and beyond. My favourites included:

  • The Beach Club: Nestled at the water's edge, The Beach Club beckons with its casual charm and inviting atmosphere, offering an unforgettable dining experience against the stunning backdrop of Rodney Bay in St. Lucia. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, guests can savour chef-driven American and globally inspired cuisine, served in a breathtaking island setting.

  • CALLALOO BEACH BAR & GRILL: I particularly loved this restaurant as it allows you to dine on the beach with your feet in the sand. The menu here fuses international influences with Caribbean flair offering a range of large plates and smaller sharing plates - making it ideal for lunch. Set against the backdrop of swaying palm trees and the gentle lapping of waves, this is a great place to dine after a morning on the beach.

There’s also a range of other dining options at The Landings, including on-site cafes, bar and private dining options too.

Breakfast:

Each morning at The Landings began with a sumptuous breakfast spread, offering a selection of freshly prepared dishes to suit every palate. Whether indulging in a traditional Caribbean breakfast or savouring international favourites, the emphasis on quality and freshness was evident in every bite. The attentive service and picturesque setting provided the perfect start to each day in paradise.

I particulary enjoyed trying the local specialities, with differ every day and included dishes such as salt fish accras and salted cod.

Activities:

At The Landings Hotel and Spa, adventure awaits at every turn, with a range of exciting activities to suit every taste. For thrill-seekers, ATV tours offer an exhilarating way to explore the island's rugged terrain, providing an adrenaline-fueled journey through lush rainforests.

Meanwhile, hiking enthusiasts can embark on guided treks through the island's lush interior, discovering hidden waterfalls, exotic flora, and panoramic vistas along the way. For those eager to explore beneath the waves, scuba diving excursions offer an immersive experience in St. Lucia's vibrant marine ecosystem, where colorful coral reefs, teeming with tropical fish, await discovery.

Whether seeking adrenaline-pumping adventures or serene nature walks, The Landings Hotel and Spa ensures an unforgettable stay filled with excitement and exploration.
